Mr. Shlomo Rozenberg CV

A senior member in FIRS2T and is director for business development and operations. He is responsible for security, innovation and entrepreneurship.  Has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion in Haifa (1985), and an M.B.A from the Bar-Ilan University (1991). Is currently a senior researcher in the centre for strategic studies (BESA) in Bar Ilan University.  He has been a manager of interdisciplinary projects at the Israeli Government R&D unit and has been a researcher in ICTAF center for the last 18 years . In these capacities he participated in several EU projects such as SIAM (security program), OPET( energy program) , PATS (Science in Society program) and others. He developed with others models for entrepreneurships in the Israeli market in close cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and trade.  Since 1994, Mr. Rosenberg operates also a business development consulting firm, Dashro, with an extensive experience in mentoring and guiding of business initiatives and entrepreneurs. His publications include reports in the EU SIAM project as editor of the threat scenario report, Case studies from the Middle East in Search for Common Ground, Washington DC, USA, ISBN 0-9647474-8, 2004 and Support tools for R&D policy : civil-defense R&D cooperation, Sep  2005, an Interactive Expert Exchange System for Enhancing Societal Resilience, Federal Ministry of Education and Research Germany, Ministry of Science & Technology Israel, Oct 2010.
